Fleur Dodwell Ceramics 

I hand throw each item in my tiny pottery studio on the edge of Dartmoor. I use white stoneware clay and glazes that I mix myself from raw materials. Designs are inspired by the beautiful area we are lucky enough to be surrounded by, from the rugged moors to the picturesque coastline. Unlike the majority of ceramics which are fired twice, I only fire once, using the techniques perfected by my aunt. I fire in an electric kiln using power provided by solar panels to reduce the environmental impact.
